  3. Dear Mr. Celente,

This might sound REALLY crazy but I have heard from several friends that they have received notices from the IRS saying they messed up on there taxes and have to pay huge amounts of money way past what they owe. These people are all saying the same thing…I didn’t mess up. OK I might sound paranoid but ….you never know with the government. Just wondered if you are hearing anything about this kind of thing. It would be like the government to think we will just rob as many people as they can and it’s for there own good really.

    Thank you Carol Weinman

  6. Gerald, you are right on! If we think we are going to change the system (Federal Government) through the ballot box, you had better think again! The only way to stop this thing is for the States to reclaim their sovereignty and dissolve the Federal Government!

  7. We are already in revolution as is evidenced by the election of 2010.
A greater revolution and a general strike may come in the future. The original name of Ayan Rand’s book, Atlas Shrugged, was “The Strike”
A massive revolution in the form of a general purchasing strike may occur in the future. Right now the American People seem somewhat helpless when petitioning a bully government. If they choose to boycott restaurants, movies, stores, driving, purchasing of all sorts the end effect will be far more telling than an active revolution. If the American people simply choose to sit on their hands the power structure in the United States will shake to its foundations. This is already happening on a small scale. People are cutting driving, going to restaurants, movies, and purchasing. This is happening in the form of the Staycation. People are giving up individual home ownership to live with friends, siblings, parents, and relatives.
Deep down we do not fully realize the underlying strength and tenacity of the American Character. Before this is over lawns and back yards may grow food.
Also, the media can only lie to the public for so long before the public believes nothing coming from the media. This is already happening. The public does not believe any statement about war coming from the government or media. The public does not believe the unemployment and inflation statistics. The politicians’ lie is finished and public disapproval will show itself in the next election.
I wonder what the public will choose for America and the World now that the public is thinking for itself. A quiet revolution will be far more devastating than a shooting revolution. And the American Public will find such a revolution very easy to pull off. It will be called the sit on your hands revolution.

  8. Gerald has been right on with all of his predictions. I wonder if there is any hope for us Americans in this society? I’ve been struggling for the last two years with finding steady work. I appreciate finding out the real truth about our economy and where its headed. Thanks to Gerald and also the NIA for opening my eyes and ears. Now I have been trying to prepare myself for the dark days ahead.

  9. Please advise how we are to survive (and thrive) in the future. Where should we put our savings?
