  1. As much I’d love to buy local, I just don’t know if I could afford it. I shop at a local hardware store for work and I know their prices are at least 20% higher than the chains. Instead, I’ll try not to make any unnecessary purchases for 2011.

  3. Ciao,

Celente is the ultimate American patriot. It’s not easy to truly love your country so much that you stick to your principles (Buy local, bank local). Not easy, but it can be done, and must be done it we are not only to survive, but thrive.

  4. Your message is great Gerald, but buying only local?
Didn’t we have that until about 20 years, not by choice but because we could not access the cheap labour in China and we didn’t do so well then. Poor quality and high priced products.
How would it be different if we go back to that model?

  5. Gerald Celente is a liar and a false prophet. Nothing bad is going to happen in America most especially NO stock market crash!

  7. What else can I say other than this guy is a TREASURE! I had only heard of Celente about 2 to 3 years ago. How I wish I had known of his work 20+ years ago! The guy’s not perfect, but he’s as good as it’s going to get. I’m impressed with the fact that he knows the history of the banking cartel (i.e., the biggest political struggle prior to the 20th century). Apparently Gerald is familiar with Griffin’s The Creature from Jekyll Island or Mullens’ The Secrets of the Federal Reserve.
