Ouch! It was a cockfight with that AlJazeera (Webster Tarpley says they’re MI6) guy! I heard the AlJazeera guy telling Celente that “he’s behind the times” at the last 30 seconds of the show segment. Guy’s lame!
Excellent interview! What the American middle class never get to HEAR !!!
Gerald,
I was most irritated with the make nice, don’t make fuss, I was raised in a day care radio host’s pious behaviour. You were not allowed to challange Aljazeera’s probaganda mouth piece.
From a UN point of view, the asian gentleman was correct in saying that this is not a legitimate Western operation in Libya. But the United States is not the UN.
Final point: President Obama made a unilateral dicision bypassing congress completely to intervene in Libya. That is illegal according to the constitution.
My country, Canada should not be there either.
Keep up the great work, Gerald.
Great Job Mr. Celente.
The moron from the AlJazeera has an agenda in his spin and it so obvious. Also, it was astounding how he could not address your points on the double standards or how it is none of our business to be there in the first place. What we all heard from the Aljazeeera puppet were very lame and weak suggestions that made no sense – as it was nonsense.
Keep up the good fight with the truth, works every time – you are not alone!
Can you imagine what the United States would do to rebels on its own soil?
The next time one of these righteous Arab moralist types comes out arguing how great western intervention is… ask him how its worked out for them thus far? Just pick a country. The Shah in Iran. Saddam in Iraq (supported at first). The backing of the Saudi Monarchy. Is any country in the Middle East better because of foreign intervention? You can stretch back to the British colonial period and it’s the same pattern.
He’ll be the same guy bitching later about how the US and the West have screwed everything up.
What do you say to a people who don’t have enough sense to see a constant pattern across over 100 years? Maybe the West wouldn’t screw them so bad if they weren’t constantly INVITING THEM IN! You have to get your own house in order before you can have a chance.
Small wonder they are the world’s whipping boy.
great job. I wish there are more people like you.
We do have rebels on our own soil , illegals , and there changing the laws as we sleep.
Ever wonder how much it costs to buy a senator or congress person , ONE VOTE ?
I don’t think you can call illegals rebels because they rely on the government, they don’t fight it do they? At least not yet, maybe they will when the welfare ends?
I meant could you imagine what the government would do if they had to face an armed rebellion like Gadhafi has to in Libya? What do you think our government would do to their rebels? Do you think they would be nice to them, like they tell Gadhafi to be to his rebels? Would our government call its rebels ‘civilians’ like it has labeled the rebels in Libya? Or would the rebels here be called ‘terrorists’ and get bombed the hell out of? Do you see my point?
This was a good debate, I enjoyed listening. America was in a tough position because if we didn’t respond then the media would project; oh Obama and the Americans don’t want to help us and on the opposite; oh Obama and the American’s are trying to go to war or whatever. Until we fix the global monetary system, there will always be a cascade of problems. Mehn, I love Trend news, its better than watching, keeping it dishonest with Anderson Cooper the puff and the CNN, fox news and all other news illiterate readers.
Yet again `we` in the west are `poking our nose` into other peoples business. How typical to insist on”freedom & democracy”, for Libya ! What about Bahrain,Saudi Arabia and Yemen? Not a word from the “free press” ! It would appear it`s OK for a “dictator”, to kill their own citizens, providing they are “our” dictator.
