Usually Celente, whose style on the radio is often….ummmmm how shall I put this….more energetic. actually showed restraint, patience, and decency. Everyone else was rude, talking over each other. No one is going to publicly acknowledge his point because they represent the system he criticizes. The intelligence official did his job well and made Celente appear to be a “quack”. The media followed his lead and supported the policy without questioning. The cameras cut away often to let the “others” into the fray. They even tried to cite how many attacks have been stopped (after they were encouraged) by intelligence. Getting the name of at least one city wrong…Portland and not Seattle. Is that supposed to make a rational person think…..I guess we should go after the guy who published all that. He is the betrayer…..rather than ask the question that the leaks should lead us towards. A moral question and the one Celente tries to bring up.
“Do we want our government to function like a bunch of middle school girls with a social aggression complex?” But then again, as it was so eloquently put, welcome to the real world. “Do we want to be an aggressive nation alienates and intimidates anyone that doesn’t agree with them?” What I think we want is a moral compass to guide our leaders and he is right to question that.
About his grander message that we are on the edge of an abyss? I sure hope he and everyone else who sees it coming is wrong. But those Fox Business pundits didn’t do a good job of convincing me of that. They just bullied him and he took it like a man and didn’t cry about it.

Hello Gerald, here’s my advice: don’t agree to appear on television if its going to be a six-against-one thuggee ritual media strangulation. Your excellent observations were buried in a frenzy of diplomat and army worship. Still, you did a good job in there. If it was me, I’d be shouting at the top of my lungs something like, “But lives ARE endangered, and thousands have been lost, for nothing! That’s what these leaks are telling us! They’re telling us our foreign policy is a disaster; it has to change, and the people running it have to go.” But, nobody would hear me in that zoo…!
Sounds like Mike Baker (former CIA etc) is worried about his types losing their jobs when it becomes clear to everyone that the law enforcement types (and politicians) are a bunch of inept individuals.
Gerald – sorry you had to sit through this clown show. These idiots don’t have a rational argument to stand on and they demonize anybody who does have some common sense. The people see through this nonsense and are looking for quality political leadership, which may never come at this point.
I got mad when they ganged up on you Gerald. You did the right thing. You let them expose themselves for what they really are; establishment thugs with low I.Q.’s, and media pundits there to stroke the ego’s and lick the boots of the establishment thugs. They are only worried about possibly having to find themselves an honest job, and do an honest day’s work for once in their lives, if there is any honest work left to find in this country.
This CIA thug is the type of “talk show tough guy” you have mentioned, which is reminiscent of a gestapo thug, which in turn makes me want to puke, considering we live in what used to be The Land Of The Free And The Home Of The Brave.

By the way Gerald, I am a veteran of the U.S. Army. I was a medic in a MASH unit as a young man during the late 80’s at Fort Bragg, N.C.
One time I made the terrible mistake of volunteering to be a Mock POW for some Green Beret’s.
It was 72 hours of hell out in the woods. They got some really good torture “practice” in on me physically, and mentally.
I wanted to go into the medical field because I discovered I had a knack for it in high-school while working sports medicine with the football team, which is why I became a medic, and wanted to use the G.I. Bill for college after the army.
My parent’s and my friends always wondered what the hell my problem was when I got out. I had lost my dream of becoming a doctor to say the least. I’m now finally clean and sober as of my 44th birthday on November 29th born in ‘66.
When these so-called tough guy’s come on the news they make me want to puke, because I know they are lying through their teeth. Thats what they were trained to do!
When some naive soccer-mom, or yuppie newscaster says “our troops would never do that”; Yes they do! They were trained to do THAT. They were trained to follow orders!
When some 25 year old V.A. Psychologist says to me that “our own troops couldn’t have done that to you Sam”, our own troops”? they are incredibly naive ,and don’t have a clue about what is going on in “the real world” as quoted by the CIA legend (in his own mind) in your interview.
But on the bright side, one of those Green Beret’s did apologize to me afterward about the black eye he gave me while I was tied to the chair in the GP Small (tent).
But as far as the water-boarding, the hog-tying, the latrine non privilege (for 3 days!) , the lack of food (but not water), the black bag over-the-head, the 9mm rounds going off around my head, and all the other cool stuff they thought up at the psy-ops battalion across the street from my barracks, well…heck, that was on me.
At least when I have nightmares and cant sleep, I know I did my part for torture, and to help my country get information from the bogey-man…
Gerald your Nazi torture specialist would have been proud of these guys, and maybe me too for not saying a word about it for 20 years. When you see him again tell him I’m no vimp…LOL

Interesting how conservatives make up the majority of Celente fans, yet here he is being stomped and ridiculed on the conservative Fox News…revealing an interesting dynamic on how people (like Gerald) can be a brilliant blend of conservatism and liberalism. A political athiest as far as party loyalty goes, but Gerald blends virtues of both ends of the spectrum. I am a liberal, I am a fan because I can adopt and see the logic in both sides of Gerald’s common-sense approach to everything. But I could tell you Gerald would have had a chorus of agreement on a more liberal-leaning news channel. It’s a “liberal” view to have these documents published and to free Assange. I encourage conservative brothers to notice that both sides have common sense stances on different issues. If we could only blend the best of both, wouldn’t that be a political party to run the country with….

Gerald I was hoping that you were going to hit them with the fact that it is our foreign policy that is putting people’s lives in jeopardy. None of this crap would have ever come up and much fewer lives would be in danger if we werent meddling in the internal affairs of other countries and just simply minding our own business.
What puts these people in harms way in the first place is the invasion and occupation other countries in the first place!
