  1. Praise Keynes for such well-financed servants that they no longer fear preempting gesticular terrorists before they can strike. Unabated, a violent dance battle could have broken out along sectarian lines; causing the gawkiest to feel marginalized and arguments to erupt over whom exactly ‘got served.’ Speedy thinking on the part of that brave footcycle-helmet toting hero helped interdict what could have been a tango tragedy.

I call for a new tax on all the extra carbon emitted whenever a human being exerts themselves. There is a universal scientific consensus that increased activity leads to increased heart-rate and respiration. As you may have heard, respiration causes needless Earth-destroying gasses to be released into the already vulnerable atmosphere. This is why it is the patriotic American duty of all God-fearing citizens to be as sedentary as possible. Of the many ways to execute an environmental act of sabotage, dancing is among the worst. On a 1-10 scale: think of dancing as somewhere around a 9. Do you have any idea how much worthless exercise you might be getting? We could use you more around 3 (you know, touching yourself on the couch as you watch Fox News).

  4. Next time the cops should kill the visitors. Death to all.

Thank Lucifer that his disciple, Obama, is our ruler.
Thank Lucifer that cops will kill and torture everyone they are told to kill and torture.

100,000 protesters should go to the memorials every day and get arrested.
The killed of the protesters by our beloved police will solve America’s
    unemployment problem.

  7. That demonstration was organized by Moscow TV, funded by the successor organization to the KGB. Code Pink also got together with them on it. They had been told previously that there was no demonstrating allowed inside the memorial so public visitors to the memorial can better enjoy the experience without being disturbed, but that they could demonstrate in designated areas outside the memorial on the grounds. Those ordances have been supported by the courts in the past. They chose to disregard them and do it anyway just for the publicity.

moepwood on July 18th, 2011 at 6:09 pm
  8. Dear Moepwood,

Thanks for the insights. Good points, but nonetheless, brutal treatment. Yes, the courts do support such ordinances, along with other rulings that rob us of what little is left of our Constitutional Rights. “Better enjoy the experience without being disturbed” is hardly an excuse for such violent repression.

And for the record, brutal suppression by “officials” is becoming the norm, not the exception.

  11. Just a moment for a serious thought, people. When I was a very young man in the early 1970’s, I knew a fellow who was a (Jewish) survivor of a Nazi death camp. This fellow emigrated here from Germany and became an American citizen. He told my dad, a cop, how America (waaaaaaayy back in the ’70s) was becoming more and more like Nazi Germany. THIS, from a Jewish holocaust survivor!!! Honestly, people, America needs to grow some cojones and “shoot the basterds” already. The banksters and the internationalists most of all. These people are an ongoing crime against humanity and need to be stopped. “Nuremberg rules apply”; let the punishment fit the crime. Cicero is right, a murderer is less to be feared than these traitors!

indianamilitia on August 6th, 2011 at 7:13 am
  12. Another thought: The use of satire is directly proportional to the level of oppression people are subjected to. At this rate, AmeriKa is on the verge of total enslavement. Fight while you can! JFK: “When peaceful change is made impossible, violent resistance is made inevitable”.

  15. Just wait until the Tea Party members are declared an enemy of the state and rounded up. Same old history. Pick an enemy of the dictator, target the enemy and round them up. There is a lot of rhetoric about Tea Party Terrorists. Now 29% of Americans actually believe Tea Party groups are terrorists. See how brainwashing and propaganda develops a false and dangerous belief within a few months. scary!

  16. I think there was no real point made by these people. They protested in an idiotic manner. However, rather than assaulting the people dancing they could have closed the memorial temporarily, perhaps then an appropriate protest and valid point could have been made. There is no victory against this machine by force. The masses of average americans are irreversibly brainwashed sheep now, they crave, they posture, they compare and worst of all things, they think they live in the best country in the world. What did we learn in school? The cause of all war is nationalism ( a scapegoat for the oligarchs no doubt ). I really think that it is far too easy to manipulate the masses now with media, agent provocateurs ( anarchists ) and disruption of supply chains ( food source )………doom is upon you America, it was form the start, Hail Ceasar……Jesus.

    trevor8stanley on August 9th, 2011 at 3:08 pm
  17. Further, I don’t mean to sound like a wanker by saying doom is upon you……it just really feels like it now. To be sure there is a very large world out there that is so tired of being oppressed…..the movement towards a global system is innevitable and is requiring many lives to end, but hasn’t the creation of any nation cost countless lives?
It’s within our nature, it is the nature of the Unverse we are part of. Freedom has nothing to do with capitalism or democracy, it has to do with survival, procreation, ideas, Love and equality….there is no equality in our Western culture, there is no equality in our natural make up as an infinintely variable Humanity, we are not equal, we never will be, we will always fight, we will always die, we will always love and we will always hate. The game never ends.

    trevor8stanley on August 9th, 2011 at 3:19 pm
  18. The force is excessive! Warned or not for protesting. It was a very peaceful protest! I looked at a certain video some time ago of some protesters facing the police. A young woman blew small soap-bubbles near an officer. The officer got agitated and said: “If one of these bubbles hit me I will arrest you for assault.” What a response!
It is unbelievable things like that happen. I hope the people can free themselves from this authoritarian police behavior.

  20. This is shameful behavior by the police. I don’t care if the KGB organized this or not, what does it matter ? This demonstrates the early stages of a police state. I don’t think the KGB fears a truly democratic America. They fear a fascist state of America, for good reason don’t you think ?

  23. They do not want people to think for themselves. Anyone showing original thinking is subversive to the system. They do not want people to come up with a critical thinking. They have to be submissive and ignorant – for that they use religion. Just think about the millions of preachers teaching about the “word of God”. How many have you seen teaching about MONEY – the real Devil of mankind!

  26. So, does anyone have any ideas on what we’re going to do as a global community?

I am a human from Planet Earth after all. Where are you from?

And i agree. The people around should stop this. But not before taking a peaceful stance. A violent resistance should be recieved by those taking human rights away after they ignore the premise of peacefulness simply because it does not match their agenda. For sure. I have sworn that oath to myself.

Here’s a situation where the state itself has overstepped

  31. This summer traveling in Germany, Austria, Slovakia for 2 weeks we hardly see any cops, not on the roads, not in the cities. (We saw no accidents either’ driving more than 2000Km.)
As soon as we got to USA, cops, guards everywhere. What a difference. Seeing this brutal cops treating people like a piece of s… makes me angry. Sending killers, Swat teams, agains peacefull demonstrators is a crime and a criminal who send them should be in the court. Wake up american people, system here is so opressive.

  34. Since when did park police look like ads for steroids? Whatever happened to the park police who were helpful and polite toward visitors (guests)? The pigs shown here ought to be walking the glacier beat in some park in Alaska before they are fired.

Whatever happened to them? There must have been brutality charges filed since no dancer resisted arrest.

    blakeglenn1 on December 31st, 2011 at 6:41 am
  39. Where do they find these cops. All they had to do was ignore the dancers for about 15 minutes and the entire situation would have defused itself. Common sense has been lost by all, critical thinking seems to be a thing of the past. I would be very interested to know the back story on this situation. Who sent these cops in to deal with this “threat”. I would also like to know what happened after the fact were these cops held accountable? Where their bosses held accountable? I am pretty sure I can guess the answers to these questions but I would love to be wrong just once on something like this. Granted the dancing seemed a bit silly but it did expose a serious issue the police state is out of hand. I fear I would not be so easily subdued. I hate to say it but I do not believe I could submit quite as passively as these folks did I fear submitting so easily in the future may be a grave mistake.
