Celente Supports TSA “Groper” Procedure KINGSTON, NY, 17 November 2010 — As opposition to full-body X-ray scanners mounts among aircraft crews and passengers, Gerald Celente, Trends Journal publisher proposes a realistic and rational solution. With ample evidence indicating that repeated exposure to doses of radiation poses a health risk, and with naked-body scans clearly violating personal privacy, many are opting out for the personal pat-down alternative. “I am one of those frequent flyers that will opt-out for health concerns,” said Celente. “The government’s assurance that the scanners are completely safe is alone enough to convince me that they are dangerous. “Moreover, the fact that full-body scanners were promoted by former Homeland Security Czar, Michael Chertoff, as the ‘most effective means of detecting hidden explosive devices’ further raises my suspicions,” Celente said. Following last year’s Christmas Day “Underwear Bomber” episode, Chertoff – who had left Homeland Security to open his own consulting firm – spent the holiday season making the media rounds loudly championing the scanners … while keeping quiet about his firm’s contract with Rapiscan, their manufacturer. (Furthermore, it was established that the bomber could not have ignited the device with matches or the syringe of accelerant in his possession. Only an electronic detonator or “extreme heat” could have set it off.) “In other words,” said Celente, “the entire flying public is being subjected to either radioactive contamination or gross privacy invasion so that Chertoff & Co. can make a profit out of these pernicious machines. The pat-down option, an already invasive procedure, has been dramatically upgraded by the TSA into a flagrant full-body grope. Making the pat-down so gross is designed to encourage people to go through the scanners rather than get felt up by strangers. It is my contention that this degrading and disgusting practice is about selling machines, not about ensuring security. The “Celente Solution”: Just as the Government invariably gets everything else wrong, its grope-the-public strategy is upside-down and inside-out, contends Celente. “As a strictly heterosexual, if I’m going to get groped in an airport – be it in public or private – I want to be groped by a gal. Period! And, ideally, I would like to choose my groper. Does the TSA have a ‘Don’t Ask Don’t Tell’ policy,” he asks? “What twisted TSA/government bureaucrat put in place this guy-gropes-guy policy? Or are they covertly fostering homosexuality by forcing men to be felt up by other men – all under the guise of security?” Celente readily acknowledges that his “solution” is male-oriented. “I’m speaking only for myself and on behalf my guy friends,” said Celente, “not for women. They’ll have to find their own solution.” Until some such solution is found, citizens of the “Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave” are going to be subjected to either radiation poisoning or sexual humiliation. Trendpost: Celente says the TSA policy is trend-significant. As it stands, it will serve to discourage air travelers, which will take a toll on the slowly recovering business travel and tourist industry. Holiday destinations within driving distance will attract vacationers who refuse to be scanned or groped. And America’s airport security practices, already under attack by foreign nations as unnecessary and draconian, will further discourage international travelers. |

Agree with Gerald! I have already cancelled 2 flights since the TSA (Tyranny Starts at Airports) has ramped up their groping procedures. I have also have written to the CEO of American Airlines to let him know. I WILL avoid all flights to destinations that are within 5 to 6 hours drive time and I will use more Web Conferencing for “meetings” that are farther than 5 to 6 hours away drive time.
I will not go through the Full Body Scanners.
Michael Chertoff should be arrested!
If the US population does not rise up and stops this, it will prove that they have been completely cowed.
… This stuff reminds of movies from the 70’s where they depicted Soviet oppression of their citizens. The US is not becoming a police state .. it already is one.
I for one (being Canadian) will not be taking vacations in the US anymore. Europe and Asia is the place to be!

“Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness…” This TSA screening potentially violates all three unalienable rights. It risks my life with radiation, if violates my liberty if I select to be groped and it is impacting my pursuit of happiness because I have to travel to make a living.
This all goes well beyond a reasonable plan to have sensible security.
What’s else is next to crush the American Dream?

The reasons for these searches are that they want you to stop traveling,
If they came out and banned you from free movement like the Nazis did they would risk an uprising so they do it this way.
And what do you know’ Alex Jones is telling people not to fly, people are saying I wont fly.
Once you stop flying you get cancelled flights then they put these restrictions and searches in ports so people stop sailing, then they put restrictions on state borders then town borders and then you realise what they were planning after all.
They are making a mockery of our 4th amendment and These TSA have their sick perverted fantasy come to life by Touching other man penises under this insane new regulation.. And enjoying every moment.. Americans please take notice.. OUr rights are being taken right in front of plain view.. Somebody please tell me how going after the “effect” of an airline terrorist attempt will solve the problem of airline terrorism. Any person with half a brain knows that the “cause” of the problem must be addressed, not the “effect”, in order to remedy it. Send Special Ops troops after the “cause” people wherever they are and intelligently profile passengers at the airport. Consult the Israelis—they know how to do it. As a nation we are fast becoming the stupidest sheep on Earth; unbelievable! Put an adult in charge and sh*tcan the dummy Napolitano now! Chertof should be arrested and tried for what he’s doing. Noticed who the TSA is comprised of—the dumbest, lowest eschelon of society they could find. Why is that?
Not to mention the fact that the TSA gropers do not change their gloves between gropings. Ask any medical professional, in order to not risk passing sexually transmitted diseases, they wash hands frequently and change gloves between patients. This is a HUGE reason to stop the pat downs. Get real, TSA. Stop looking for weapons and start looking for terrorists.

At the moment I am at a hotel in LA. Four of us flew from Phoenix to LA yesterday. We were not scanned nor searched. Just moved in line with the same security we have had in place since 9/11. So, is groping and full body scans being used in only eastern cities??? Or is this just the introduction of what is to come?

I have flown over 10 times in the last month and not been scanned or searched the first time. Most of the searching I see going on is of women, and young men in their early 20’s. What does that tell you? PERVERTS..

This suggestion was from a congressman from Texas when a complaint was made about the scanners and groping: “Just tell them to show you the law that requires me or my family to submit to this. Try to force us and I’m calling the sheriff and will have you arrested (go prepared with the number).”
It would take a certain amount of guts and I have no idea how this would actually play out in real life, but I’m putting it out there for your consideration and comments.
One thing we could be fairly certain of is that if the vast majority of fliers refused to submit, they’d have to stop it. It might take a Ghandi like effort and determination though. Nothing wrong with that.
Ditto, Mr. Celente! Your solution has been mine all along. I am a heterosexual female and will insist that if I have to have a sexual encounter of the close kind, it shall be by man- and the cutest one I can find! I might as well enjoy myself. In all probability, I am most certain that a man would be less likely to grope a middle aged woman than a female with an attitude.
One of the issues that bothers me is the lack of the requirement of a search warrant for a physical search of an individual or their possessions. Second, are TSA employees deputized peace officers? Third, when has anyone been mirandized prior to being searched? Fourth, what has happened to the idea of ‘innocent until proven guilty’? Fifth, when has TSA ever produced a ‘reasonable, articulable suspicion’ that a crime has or is about to be committed? Sixth, groping of a minor and viewing nude pictures is considered sex abuse. When are TSA employees going to be held accountable for these actions?
Are there any lawyers out there that are willing to fight for the Constitution? Our freedom is dieing a horible death.

First, it was open heart by-pass. Because of the heavy pain meds they gave me, I then twisted and broke my left ankle, which now has two pins and six screws in it. Due to more pain meds for the ankle, I then slipped in the middle of the night and fell, hitting my left shouldering hard against a wall in a darkened room, dislocating it. Two left shoulder operations later, brought on a total shoulder replacement for me, so I could never go through a screening device at an airport. A pat down would be inevitable and I, too, am heterosexual and would never let a man feel me up and down, especially groping my crotch and my little snubby. I mean, come on, gc, a custom made .38 is way too expensive to replace these days. Best.

…and meanwhile, what percentage of bags are being properly checked? Besides, with all this security, I think anyone wanting to bomb the US would most likely not be trying pass through an airport.
I have enjoyed many trips to the US in the past and planned to explore more of your beautiful country; I have since changed my plans to explore other countries and will not be flying to the US any time soon.
