Mister Celante all wars come to end and unfortunately the war will stop when one side is bankrupt. I think you are quite right that the not only the US but much of the entire world will be facing a major political and economic realignment in the near future. The sad fantasy is many in the US think war is good for the economy. It is really delusional thinking. War destroys wealth, not creates wealth. Being a veteran war is a dichotomy. It brings out the best in some people and the worst in others. General Grant failed in everything he did before being a soldier. The war made him a hero and an historical figure. In Afghanistan there has been no objective on what victory is and how to achieve it. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

American country bosses should read history. Afghanistan is a region never been conquered. not by Mongols, not by British and not yet by America either.
